Quick answer

Clear one mirror combat challenge in each of Paris Streets, Main Hall, Clock Tower and Notre-Dame. At the relevant mirror, crouch to enter and finish the encounter. Then return to Eleanor’s mirror, clear the Hall of Mirrors and follow her note to the cemetery.

Use the region and the linked map footage together. Room labels in written guides are inconsistent for the Main Hall approach, so this table avoids presenting “Archives” and “Servants’ Hall” as two separate seals.

What to do at each mirror

  1. Stand in front of the challenge mirror and crouch / kneel. A normal save interaction alone does not clear a seal.
  2. Enter the reflected combat space. Player reports describe a symbol overhead: jump and strike that symbol to start the enemy waves if the fight has not begun.
  3. Clear the encounter and watch for the seal-breaking progression. Tick the region only after the challenge is resolved.
  4. Repeat at the other three regional mirrors, then return to Eleanor’s entrance.

The overhead-symbol step is specifically described in the Steam player discussion ↗; the illustrated guide shows the regional encounters. The Clock Tower’s A Sketch from Talos clue, listed in Builder’s Bureau, connects the four intact seals to Eleanor’s imprisonment.

If the entrance is still blocked

I used all four save mirrors. Why are the chains still there?

Saving and entering a mirror challenge are different actions. Recheck whether each mirror actually led you into a fight and whether that encounter ended. This is the first thing to check before assuming your save is broken.

I cannot find the Main Hall mirror.

Compare the 00:35 map footage with your current map. A player report also describes a hidden drop beneath the first Alucard painting near the left entrance of Old Gallery, below the library transition at Bridge of Knowledge. Treat this as a secondary landmark from a player, not a fifth challenge or a universally confirmed route. Read the original player discussion ↗

I can enter the maze, but I still do not have The Sage.

The seal stage is complete before the Arcana is awarded. Continue through the Hall of Mirrors, claim The Temptress from Succubus, and follow Eleanor’s note to her tomb.

From broken seals to The Sage

1

Return to Eleanor’s mirror and enter the Hall of Mirrors.

2

Navigate to Belmont Manor and defeat Succubus; claim The Temptress.

3

Return to the former chained-mirror room and read Eleanor’s departure note.

4

Go to Mausoleum of the Queens in Holy Innocents’ Cemetery. Find the Tomb of the Noble Queen and speak with Eleanor.

The reward associated with Eleanor is The Sage and its Mirror Walk spell. The maze route has its own Hall of Mirrors guide, so the full navigation sequence is kept there.
